She gave a uncomfortable laugh and sat down at the table. Back up? As in we gotta kick this guys ass back up or as in-- wait. What other kind of back up is there?
Sophie sat quietly with a plastered smile watching Ty and Chad talk back and fourth not really knowing what to say or do.

Ty watched Sophia and Chad for a few more minutes, his smile still on his lips. Chad aparently hadn't been turned for long. He was still green. He knew that there wasn't alot of time to explain things. "Look, I'm a lycan.. probably the only lycan you'll meet who won't bite your head off. I need your help"

Sophie's fake smile disappeared upon hearing the word Lycan come out of his mouth. She made a move toward her gun protectively, giving Chad a look. Her eyes moved back over to this Ty person and looked him over. Lycan? Well that would explain how he knew about Chad but why in the hell would a Lycan be asking for help? It must've been a trap. There's no way.
"How do we know this isn't a trap and you're not gunna try anything?"

Ty frowned and shook his head. "Look.. I watched Marcus turn my girlfriend into a vampire infront of me and you think I'm going to try anything on your guys? I don't even have a wolf form."

Thaelan parked his bike around the corner from the coffee house, he'd been able to smell it for last block and a half. It made his stomach groan it had been a while since he'd had a good meal, let alone a decent cup of coffee.
Thaelan entered the coffee house and went up to the counter and ordered a latte then changing his mind at the last moment, with an apology, he asked instead for an Irish coffee.
After getting it and paying he found a table in the corner. It wasn't until he'd nearly finished the coffee that he realised he could faintly pick up the scent of a vampire but looking around he couldn't identify who it was but he suspected it was one of the three at the table not far from his.

Ty glanced decretly around the club. He aparently was the only one who picked up the scent of another lycan entering the coffee shop and wondered if he'd been spotted and followed. Not wanting to draw alot of attention to himself he focused his gaze back on Sohpia and Chad.

Sophia's eyes widened slightly hearing what Ty was telling her. She'd heard rumors of the two. The lycan and the vampire. She sort of dismissed the rumor thinking it was just that, a rumor. She studied his eyes for a moment. There was something she could see in monsters that was just different. They had a look in their eyes that was savage and beast-like. His were not.
She nodded, looking at Chad again. "Alright, I believe you but that doesn't mean I have to trust you. What kind of help you lookin' for?"

Thaelan found he could not help but listen in on their conversation, which wasn't hard with the advanced senses of a lycan, he was pretty sure it wasn't the female he was sensing.
One of the males mannerisms seemed to show he was very on guard but this might only mean he was aware that he was sitting with a vampire, so by deduction that ment Thaelan had a fair idea which one it was.
Thaelan decided to bide his time and see if he could learn more before taking any action. He went and got himself that latte after all...

Out of the corner of her eye Sophia could see a mysterious man glancing frequently over to their table and Ty acting somewhat different. She didn't have to be a vampire or a lycan to know what was going on. Something entered the coffee shop that made their new friend uncomfortable. Her gaze went back to Chad momentarily wondering what he was thinking. God, this would be so much easier if she could just read minds.

Thaelan realized the girl had picked up on him watching them, it just went to show he'd gotten careless in the last few years. Mortigan would have cuffed the back of his head for that sort of slip up. Which brought to mind why Thaelan was in Detroit, following rumours that Deacon Frost had been seen here.
The next time she looked his way Thaelan smiled, trying to make it seem like a harmless flirtation but doubted it would work.

Ty could still feel the presence of the lycan in the coffee shop and knew that he wasn't going to relax. He stole another glance around the shop his gaze connecting with Thalene's and his frown grew deeper. He knew at once that he was the lycan but wasn't sure if he was working for anyone.

Locking eyes with Ty, Thaelan gave him an easy, hopefully reassuring smile. There was no need to freak this guy out he might even need help escaping this vampire, he had no idea the inclinations of these people and was trying not to make assumptions but this vampire like most was probably a hunter not one to use cloned blood. Thaelan had only ever seen Mortigan eat cloned blood and knew him to only hunt when it was absolutly necessary.

Ty could still feel Thalene's gaze upon him and it was steadily making him more and more nervous. He reached the point where he couldn't stay there anymore and gazed at Chad and Sohpia one last time. "Look I can't stay here any longer. I'm risking too much as it is." He slid them a peice of paper an adress scrawled on it. "If you consider talking anymore, meet me at the address apartment 3B." Without another word he stood up and made his way out of the coffee shop hoping he wasn't about to be ambushed by a pack of lycans waiting outside.

Something else was obviously wrong here, after Ty had left, Thaelan stood and approached their table quickly, he didn't want either of them leaving before he could speak to them.
"Mind if I take a seat?
I have a few questions that should only take a moment of your time."
Before they could answer Thaelan asked the first question.
"Does the term lycan mean anything to either of you?"
