Ty hadn't been sure what had motivated him to go out and grab a cup of coffee. Isabella didn't drink it as often as she use to and even when she did drink it, it was normally a latte or something else. Ty himself didn't like the bitter taste of coffee and sweeting it up seemed to be a waste of time, so he normally chose the safer route. Tea. However he hadn't been able to get the craving for coffee out of his mind and finally he succumbed to it, pausing only to ask Izzy if she wanted anything before he left.
Walking down the streets of Detroit wasn't always a good thing, but for Ty it seemed to be a death wish or something. Wanted by both sides, Ty found refuged in neither the Lycans, who disliked him for being in love with a vampire and the vampires who hated him for being a lycan. All in all it was a pretty hopless sisutation. With a sigh, he stepped into the coffee shop, the scent of a vampire hitting his senses shortly afterwards.

Chad had been laying low for the past couple of weeks, to recouperate and get his energy back. He'd also been forming contacts in the underground of Detroit, so Chad, Blade, and the Nightstalkers could have some extra help.
Today Chad had decided he'd come out of hiding and see if he could get information from anyone before he headed back to the House of Chthon. In order to do that, he needed some coffee.
He had been sitting at a booth in the corner of the room, drinking his hazelnut coffee when a strange scent drifted in through the front door. He glanced up from his coffee and watched a very attractive man enter and stride toward the counter.
Chad continued to stare as he thought, That scent, it's nothing like I've ever smelled before.

Ty did his best to look around the café discreetly, not really wanting to draw attention to himself. With his aura cloaked and hidden from whatever vampires might be in the vicinity, he stepped up to the counter to order. Might as well get that Coffee, that might just get him killed now.

Chad blinked in confusion as the scent suddenly dissapated. What the...?he thought to himself. Who is this guy?
Chad, against his better judgement, stood and walked toward the counter. He couldn't believe he was doing this. "Excuse me," he said to the man, "would you like to sit with me? I'm not hitting on you or anything, although you are quite attractive. I know this might sound weird but, there's something about you..."

Ty glanced over to Chad and his eyes widened slightly. This was the vampire that had sent him into worry mode? Ty just shugged and nodded. "Why not, I have nothing better to do." He said before taking his White Chocolate Mocha and following Chad back over to his table. "So what exactly did you mean by, there's somethign about me? Do I remind you of someone?"

"No, no, you don't remind me of someone. There's this aura about you. It's pretty unique; I felt it right when you walked through the door." Chad took a sip of his hazelnut coffee. "My name is Chad Slukov.", and he offered his hand for a handshake.

Ty was hesitent to take Chad's hand, but not wanting to seem rude he took it. "Tyrese Adrastos" He said with a nod. "Most people just call me Ty." He added almost as an after thought. "So just what are you, if i have this 'Aura?' Ty said trying sound skeptical. No sense in letting Chad figure out what he was.

Chad didn't quite know how to respond to that. How was he going to explain how he felt an aura? How was he going to explain what he was? Better yet, what was he going to say he was?
"Let's just say that I've been through some major changes that enable me to see more of people, if that makes any sense at all.", Chad said blinking and slightly shaking his head at how odd that must have sounded.

Ty watched Chad with a little half smile. He blamed it on the full moon high in the night sky. He wasn't in the position to be confident and cocky. That would only draw attention to himself but he knew the wolf was in control and he was merely along for the ride. Still wearing the smirk, Ty leaned in. "I would have pegged you for a vampire actually. But maybe that's just me?"

These past months had been hard. Hannibal had left with no explanation, Murphy had seemed to never be around, Abigail had seemed to take Hannibal's absence the hardest, Chad had gone hiding underground, and the team all together had been falling apart.
No one had been at the warehouse and Sophie couldn't stand to be alone so she decided to head to the local coffee house. She walked in and quickly noticed the two men talking to each other. One being Chad. She took a moment and rubbed her eyes. She hadn't slept in days and wouldn't be surprised if she was delusional. Sure enough it was Chad. A wide grin appeared on her weary face as she walked over to them. "Chad? Is that you?"

Chad's eyes widened and fear rushed through his body. What was this mysterious man? How had he known?
Trying to keep his cool Chad asked, "Now, what you would know of vampires?"
He was about to say something else when a familiar figure entered the coffee house. "Excuse me one moment." he said to Ty.
He instantly recognized the figure as Sophia Renault, ally and friend. The last he saw of her was a couple of weeks ago when he stopped by to pick up a supply of serum that Blade had left for him. He smiled at the surprise on her face; she was probably stunned that he had come out of hiding. He stood to greet her. "Yeah it's me Sophie. Oh, it's nice to see you!". Chad embraced her for a long moment. "I've missed you and everyone else. How are things?"

Her shock slowly faded into happiness seeing Chad again. Sophia wrapped her arms around his neck and and laughed. "You too." She replied. After releasing from the hug she cleared her throat. "Business is slow but other than that we're ok." She then got on her tip-toes to look over Chad's shoulder and see who he was here with and the looked back to him. "What about you? Everything is good?"

"Yeah, pretty much everything is going okay." He glanced behind him and ushered Sophia toward the booth. "Ty Adrastos, this is a good friend mine, Sophia Renault. The two of us just met a couple of minutes ago. Ty was just telling me that he pegged me for being a vampire."

Sophie walked over to the table and the looked at Chad and then his guest. "Well, I er-- don't want to interrupt anything." She gave Chad a look and forced a laugh. "A vampire? That's the oddest thing i've ever heard." OK, obviously she wasn't born to be an actress. What was she supposed to do? Was she supposed to just act like he wasn't and laugh it off or did this stranger really know Chad's true nature.

"Oh no don't worry, you're not intruding." Chad almost snorted at Sophia's bad acting.
He leaned over to her ear and whispered, "Thank god you showed up. I might need some back up on this." He smiled at Ty and sat down, making room for Sophia.
Turning to Ty, Chad said, "Now, what gave you the idea that I'm a vampire?"
