[Cassie Hunter]

As packed it away and she felt like she had to ask "what were you looking at ?" just with a small grin - as she hadn't thought about it having her real name on.

[Alucard]

"Actully I was looking at your name Constanta and trying to guess your nationality." Alucard replied with a smile as they walked to where Kato had the parked the limo and was opening the door as they approched.

[Cassie Hunter]

She suddenly looked at him in horror he had said her real name They've come to take me back was the only thing she could think about - she didn't want to go back - she needed not to go back. "My name is not Constanta - it's just plain Cassie." she said with a slight accent when pronouncing Constanta and then laughed nervously "he must have given me the wrong credit card" she said beginning to turn to get back in the shop to "get the right one".

[Alucard]

Alucard could tell that Cassie was lying, his heighten senses detected the increase in her heartbeat, minuscule amount of sweat emanating from her pores, the tone of her voice, the way her pupils in her eyes widen, the scent of fear as she began to panic. She was definitely afraid of being discovered. What was she running from Alucard wondered. "Cassie, you have the right credit card. The clerk didn't make a mistake, we were the only people in the store and they were already being to close up for the night when we arrived, plus not many people have that type of credit card. Believe me when I say this, you have nothing to fear from me. Your secret is safe with me, Constanta. So please calm down Cassie and lets have some dinner, that is if you are still hungry? " Alucard said with a smile as he watched the light go off in the store they had just left . Alucard watched Cassie as she stopped in mid stride, turning toward him.

[Cassie Hunter]

"oh" she just uttered returning to Alucard and stepping into the vehicle again "do I at least get to see your roof?" she was still wondering how be like that any other person would have been at least a bit put off or annoyed with her and would want to know everthing immediately.

[Alucard]

Alucard turned to Kato before entering the limo to let him know that they were headed to resturaunt then followed Cassie into the limo and closing the door behind him. Setting Cassie's books to the side Alucard rasied the privacy partition as soon as he sat down across from Cassie. Alucard never understood people very well which is why computers seemed to be a natural fit for him, before he was turned, even then he shunned his fellow vampires, except as a food source. He was sure that Cassie or Constanta was running away from his past as much as he was. When he mentioned her ring and just now the sound of her own name nearly sent her into a panic. He wanted to know what she was running from, but didn't know how to proceed, so instead he said to her smiling in order to lighten the mood, r, "Well it is not just my roof, but it is yours too, we do live in the same building, you know." He was sure he would be able to ger her to talk about what was bothering her as long as didn't push to hard.

[Cassie Hunter]

"I've never been allowed up there" she said feeling a bit stupid cause he was right they did live in the same building " ... and I think it would be a perfect setting for learning how to use chopsticks." she ended the sentence with a huge smile.

[Alucard]

"I'll will admit it is a nice place to learn about things, including how to use chopsticks." Alucard said with a smile. "As far as I know I am the only one who goes up to the roof, besides the building maintenance staff. I have a spectaular view of the sunrise from my penthouse, but none of the sunset and the roof is the perfect place to see it."

[Cassie Hunter]

"You probably are - I didn't even know it was open for people to visit..." Cassie said and then sighed and said "it's been long since I last saw a sunrise - I see sunsets all the time - but never the sunrise" while looking out the toned windows. She kept staring out while talking "You must have become good friends the maintenance people if you're the only to ever go up there..."

[Alucard]

"You are right it isn't open to people, but before I took the place I told the manager that I needed access to the roof. He wanted to know why so I explained it to him that I am an amateur astronomer and I needed a place to set up my telescope when the night are clear enough to see the sky. I can only look to the eastern sky from my penthouse. I will admit the management did bend over backwards to accommodate my request." as leaned back stretching his legs a bit.

[Cassie Hunter]

"hm" she just added like she had gone off to a far-away country in her mind only she kept sitting there for a few minutes just staring and reply with hm as the only statement when Alucard was talking or asking her something "so when are we there?" she suddenly snapped out when she could feel her stomach knot in hunger.

[Alucard]

Alucard could tell that Cassie was deep in her own little world at the moment. He was wondering what she was thinking about, first the ring and now the use of her name had pushed her deep into her own thoughts. Whatever had happened in the past that she was running away from still affected her deeply. Alucard had been watching her closely as they drove through the streets of Detroit when Cassie abruptly asked him how much longer would it be. The mood changes she was experience told him a lot as he lowered the partition to ask Kato, how much longer would it be. Kato replied that they would be there in about five minutes. Closing the partition once more Alucard turned to face Cassie looking into her eyes to see if she still had that faraway look in her eyes, before saying it will another five minutes before we arrive.

[Cassie Hunter]

"hm...that sounds good" she was still a bit off ... but had reached to begin rummaging through her bag for her purse - that she kept misplacing.

[Alucard]

Alucard sat and watched Cassie as she fumbled through her bag looking for something, it seemed that she was now back in the present and whatever she thinking about moments earlier had been pushed asides. He turned from watching Cassie to lowering the partition tat separated the passenger compartment from the driver.

[Cassie Hunter]

She sat there listening to Alucard talking to the driver, somehow it seemed to have an oddly calming effect on her - that maybe in spite of him finding out about her it would all be okay - she didn't want to move again - so maybe it was just her hoping and wishing.
