"Well lucky for us I have someone who know the city pretty well, at least he hasn't disappointed me yet," Alucard said as he nodded toward his driver. Alucard could understand her need to feed, the thrist was all powerful all consuming, but he had learned through much pain and suffering that the thrist could be controlled, never conquered but controlled. he was sure that Cassie was fighting her hunger, much as he was controling the thrist.

(Kato Alucard’s Driver)
Even though he thought his employer was a bit eccentric he had given him a lot of leeway in how he did his job. If the privacy screen wasn’t down then he was free to engage in the conversation if wanted too. Most of the time he wouldn’t do this, because he felt there should be some kind separation between employer and employee. It was his own business ethics model, but Alucard seemed not to adhere to any such policy, he was a complete opposite to most of the people who had used his services. “Maam, I know that you are hungry and I will get you to the restaurant as fast as I can, but your bookstore is on the next block.”
Alucard was pleased with Kato and his service, but it took Alucard sometime to make Kato understand that he was free to interact with him. It seemed to Alucard that he was becoming more comfortable with Alucard’s way of doing things. “That will be fine Kato, the lady and I will be stopping at the bookstore and as fast you can get us there.” Turning to Cassie and looking into her smiling face, he says “Well my dear the faster you can find your books the sooner, we can eat. Kato has said he can get us in twenty minutes, but I am sure he know a few shortcuts.”

"don't worry - I do have self control ... "she said and felt a bit ashamed for making them do so much to appease her

"I am glad to hear that. " Alucard replied as he glance to see that Kato had begun to pull over to pull in front of the bookstore. "I tought you have the willpower to hold out a little bit longer " laughing as he began to move to the door to open it.
Moments later Kato pulled the limo to the curb in front of the bookstore as Alucard opened the door for Cassie. “After you.” Indicating the open door and waited for Cassie to exit the limo.

as Cassie stepped out she looked up at the bookstore - it seemed so different from the ones she usually visited but then turned to Alucard and the limo and cracked a smile before walking towards the bookstore "are you coming?"

"I love bookstores and this one seems to be quite unusal." turning to the driver "We should be in and out fairly quickly since the lady is hungry, so after we return straight to your resturaunt, Kato." Moving to join Cassie Alucrd moves to the door to open it for her.

“Well let’s talk with the clerk about your books and hopefully they have already set them aside for you to pick up. I know if I were the clerk I wouldn’t want to be standing between a woman who is famished and dying for a meal.” said a smiling Alucard with a glint of mischief in his eyes.

"I am not a famished woman dying to feed" she said feeling tempted to give him a playful shove "I just have not eaten since breakfast and some not very good apple I could cut little pieces off for lunch... "

Laughing as he moved toward the counter where the cashier was waiting, Alucard said simply, " Well a little bit of an apple for luch, does not make for a good meal, a snank maybe, but not a good meal." I t had been several days since Alucard had fed and he though as he and Cassie approached the cashier, that maybe he would hunt tonight for his favorite prey, his own kind.

As Cassie came up to the counter she said "Books for Cassie Hunter?" in the most polite way and then topped it off with a smile and waited for the guy behind the counter to go looking for them before turning back to Alucard "I didn't say I has a wholesome lunch. I was working." she simply stated.
