New Tenent

[Alucard]

Alucard could feel her warmth as settled into his embrace, he could feel her calming down, her heart rate slowing, her breathing less labored. “ I didn’t mean to pry into your private affairs, Cassie. I …”just as Alucard was about to finish what he was about say, he was interrupted by his driver’s voice over the intercom. “Sir, there is an antique shop on the left, is this the one the lady was referring too?”

Not wanting to disturb the moment, he was reluctant to answer, but looked to Cassie, to see if this was the right place.

[Cassie Hunter]

"yeah I think it should be here - ... just please give me a minute to look human again." Cassie said first in a quiet voice that turned playful towards the end. She had avoided looking at him since he had first begun asking about her fiancee. Why do I still think of him as my fiancee when he is nomore? she thought and felt a sadness take over again but began pressing it down because she would not breakdown in front of a stranger.

[Alucard]

Reluctantly removing his arm from about her shoulders Alucard pressed the intercom button, “She believes that this is the place, Thomas.”

“Alright sir.” came back the reply.

“Well if you think a minute is enough, ok, but let me tell you I think you look great.”,said Alucard with a smile as he watched her making herself more presentable to the outside world. He noticed that she avoided looking directly at him, since he first asked about her fiancée, she seemed to be struggling with some inner demons, but weren’t we all thought Alucard.

[Cassie Hunter]

Cassie dug a pocket sized mirror out of her obviously oversized bag and quickly looked into it - at least her eyes weren't watery or puffy. and then went to just quickly smooth her curly black hair this had been something she used to calm her down and make her feel like she was in control again. Letting out a deep breath she felt okay again though she really wanted to pull off the engagement ring so nobody else could ask her questions again - but she didn't like all the other times she knew she couldn't do it. "Thank you" she said while blushing a bit she might just have been on the verge of a breakdown but she still felt like a teenage girl with a crush when he first complimented hera nd when he had opened the door for her.

The driver has found a place a place to park about a half a block north of the antique shop. It only took a moment for him to open the door for Alucard and his guest. After the door was open Alucard gestured toward the door with his hand, with a smile on his face his eyes glinting with childish mischief, “After you, Cassie, ladies first and I was wrong about you looking great, you look fabulous.”

As Cassie stepped out of the car she metally scolded herself for not being able to stop blushing when he gave her another compliment. But it also felt good to get outside being able to get fresh air. After Alucard got out of the car she started walking towards the door of the antique shop "Please bear with Amelie - she's an old old lady so if she starts staring at you or asking you anything just be nice - I will try and make up for it later." Cassie said before grabbing the door to the shop.

[Alucard]

"Alright . I will behave, but only if you let me open the door for you, it is not very often I get to open doors for a beautiful lady." replied Alucard as he reached for the door that she had already began to open with a smile on his face. Smiling is something that Alucard rarely did and he was surprised how much better it made him feel.

[Cassie Hunter]

"oh right ...uh" Cassie said surprised and let go of the door she could definitely feel that she wasn't used to people opening the door for her or men being so absolute gentlemen. "erhm... sure" she said as she walked through the door and into the small two story shop.

[Alucard]

Alucard was in a good mood, it had been such a long time since he could say that. Since becoming a vampire he could say that his undead life was not what he thought it would be. When he lived he never thought that vampires existed or even werewolves for that matter he was happy in his ignorance, but now his world was shattered and his life was not his to control as the elders played their games vying for power among themselves. Alucard was fed up with being a pawn and beginning to think that nothing he could do would bring a moment of joy to his undead life, until he met this woman Cassie a little while ago who managed to bring a smile to his face. Alucard followed her into the small two story building.

As soon as the stepped into the shop Amelie came over to Cassie and started talking about ho wthe shop was these new thing she has just gotten and even how her daughter was doing - until she noticed the man behind Cassie. Cassie bent down so that Amelie could whisper something that made Cassie smile and laugh a little and then she turned to Alucard "Amelie here would like to know who that handsome that I finally found and brought with is" she said with smile on her face just like whenever she went into this shop.

Entering the shop behind Cassie, Alucard watched as she was greeted by the owner who came over to meet with Cassie as soon as she entered the shop. The two of seemed to be catching up on old times as Alucard looked around the shop, as he was looking at various items, Cassie introduced Amelie to him who was curious about the strange man that had accompanied her to her antique store. Walking over to where the two ladies were standing he introduced himself to Amelie. “I am Alucard, it is a pleasure to meet you” he said as he took her hand in his and gave it a kiss. He had promised Cassie that he would be on his best behavior and he intended on keeping his word.

Cassie started going further into the shop as Amelie had spotted her just as she came in the door. Eventhough she always got caught up in looking at everything Amelie had in the shop she did make sure to check how Alucard was doing at times just subtly look if he was doing ok. Until she reached the display of new stuff - most jewellery this time. When she began looking at all the pieces she saw something that did look a bit like the beautiful set she had up in her flat that she was restoring.

Alucard really never cared much for antiques until he realized that he himself had collected antiques, it wasn’t jewelry or furniture, but computers. He realized as he looked at the various items in the store that the old K-Pro computer with its CP/M operating system that he kept in a display case in his Seattle office or the vacuum tube that once was the part of the first computer ENIAC. He had often tried to acquire the first known computer bug as part of his collection, even though he knew deep in his heart it was better off in the National Museum of American History in Washington DC. He would glance at Cassie every now and then to see how she was doing. He watched as she looked at every item that crossed her path, but only lingered for a moment or two. It seemed that something in one of the display cases caught her eye and she seemed to looking at something with intent interest, so Alucard moves over to see what has caught her attention so vividly.

Cassie had been so lost in looking at the jewellery she hadn't even noticed Alucard had moved to see what she was looking at so when she stood up and was going to turn around to see how he was doing she almost bumped into him - and came face-to-face with him "oh ... " she said very surprised.

[Alucard]

Alucard wasn’t expected Cassie to turn around from what she was doing and almost bumped into her. “Oh, I am sorry that I almost bumped into you, I didn’t expect you to turn around. You seemed very interested in whatever you were looking at that I thought I would take a peek to see what had you so mesmerized.” said Alucard as he took a step back to give her some room to maneuver.
