"Well I don;t know if we got everything, but I got every bag that was in the limo. So I have your books, the things you got from Amelie, the food and of the Astrobabe. If there is anything else I missed it and will have to wait until later since I gave Kato the night off, but I am sure if he found anything we had forgotten he will bring right away dispite me telling him to take the night off. he is very effiecent." moving the bags around so that Cassie could take a quick inventory to see if he had gotten everything.

"Ok, that sounds good to me Cassie. First your place and then to the roof. I will regret beating you in this bet, because you are such a lovely lady. I hope you want you won't take this loss to badly" Alucard told Cassie as he began to chuckle, "My friends often referred to me as a night owl or even a vampire, because I was always working well into the night, because I was so deeply involved in my work." If she only knew the truth he thought to himself as he continued to laugh at his little joke about vampires.

she had also laughed a little until he mentioned the word vampire when had suddenly gone silent and came to think of the research she was doing for Aaron was probably laying all over the flat if not Aaron was there aswell ... "mhhmm " she first noncommitngly and then addded "I think that I should just go put the things away on my own "as she saw the eleveator almost reaching her floor"much more efficcient" she said ina hurry ...

As the elevator stop on Cassie floor, he noticed that she had gone silent once more. he had only joked about night owl and vampires as way to say she had no chance at winning this bet. This just made Alucard more curious about her as he said, " Well he said effiency is something I believe in and at the moment I think we are being effiect, unless you plan on cleaning your apartment, because of an unexpected geust, who will be thier just long enough to drop of your things on the tablee"

"I'll just take these" she took the bags from Alucard's hands and began walking fast towards the door putting her bags down when she finally reach the door and began looking through her bag for the keys.

Alucard came up bedise Cassie as she was looking for her keys. She extremely nervous about something. It seemed she went all defensive once he mentioned the word vampire. He had pretty much assumed that she was form Europe, but hadn't but couldn't place her accent. He was beginiing to wonder if she knew more about vampires than he assumed and that could be a big mistake on his part. He had decided that maybe it was not such a good idea to unvite this lady up to his apartment and to the roof and had begun to walk back towards the elevator when Cassie found her keys.

When Cassie had finally found her keys and got the door unlocked she noticed Alucard walking towards the elevator, and thought it to be strange since he had been so persistant to help her and up until she freaked out to help her get her things into her flat ... she looked back at him and started hesistantly "um ... eh ... um ... maybe ...eh" but couldn't really make herself say anything.

Alucard still didn't understand women, even in his undead life they still perplexed him, he paused and then turned around to hear what Cassie had began to say, still holding the food in his hands as he walked back toward her apartment now that she had opened the door. He didn't really need the food and it would have been a waste to keep it.

it was quite obvious that Cassie still was confused about what to do since she had really had a good timebut also would like to keep him away from her flat in case Aaron had left anything out that could have sent the wrong signals and then there was her research which she was sure was strewn all over her flat mostly because she did not want to scare him away. "I though that ... um... maybe ..." she said wringing her hands having her hands freed from both bags and keys "... um ... maybe ... you could wait here ... eh .. erm ... while I just get these things in and welll .... eh ... ummm..." she felt terrible she had always been taught to be brief, polite and precise when speaking to a gentleman, she was very sure he had the money, manners and family to be considered a gentleman.

Alucard listened as Cassie tried to explain something to him, it seemed to him that she was flustered and unsure of herself as if she wanted to say something wanted to do something but couldn't find the answer she was looking for. It seemed for a moment that she was fighting some internal stuggle with herself and she didn't know which side was winning. "Cassie, if you rather not have dinner with me I could leave yours with you and eat mine later. I do have a project that I am working on at the moment." Alucard said trying to give Cassie a way out without her having make up an excuse.

"no" she answered almost shouting - which she immediately felt horrible for doing when he looked at her stunned ... in fact she had been suprised that she had actually said ... and said it like that ... "I-I ... just..." she sighed deeply and walked into her flat carrying the bags.

He was quite surprised at how she almost shouted the word "No" to him as Alucard entered behind Cassie after she entered her apartment, but not going more than two steps into the apartment. His gaze followed Cassie as she went to set her bags down on a nearby table. Reaching into his jacket pocket for the small package that contained the astrolabe, he wondered if he should wait before letting her work on it he wanted to move deeper into the apartment, but since Cassie was obviously nervous about something, he chose to stay near the open door while looking at her home. He knew her layout was vastly different form his own penthouse as he waited for her.

Cassie could both see and feel he had followed which made her even more nervous when she saw that all her research was spread all over the table she put her buys next to. She turned back to Alucard who was standing in the hall still, while walking up to him Cassie asked "do you want me to look at the Atrolabe now?" she felt she had regained most of her confidence again. "or should we go eat?"
