"well ... we'll see you can stay awake the longest ... and the person who is awake long enough to watch the sunrise wins ..." she ended with a big all teeth showing smile ...

[Alucard]

"And what shall the winner of this bet receive?" matching her smile with one of his own, "After all why bet if their is no prize to be won." after all Alucard thou gt to himself even when he was still human staying up all night was something he dis on a regular bases when working on a project or waiting for a particular object to appear in the night sky. And as a vampire it was second nature.

"um ... I don't know - um ... I don't know ..." Cassie sat a bit looking around then turning to her bag "um ... " she kept fumbling and thinking ...

[Alucard]

Alucard was almost tempted to let Cassie off the hook by suggesting to her that they could make this a gentleman's bet, but he was curious to see what she would come up with as a condition for winning. as he sat watching her squirming and trying to think of what the winner of the bet should get. He thought about suggesting to her a game of twenty question, that the winner could ask and the loser would have to answer truthfully, because Alucard was interested in learning more about Constanta Rasmine Undin and what she was running away from.

She starting feeling embarassed she had to come up with something since she had been the one suggesting the bet " ... hm what if we just bet something .... like a kiss?" she could feel the blush creeping up on her and it was going to take over very soon " ... if yuo want to of course - I don't really have much else to bet with and unless you have something you want restored or anything, not that I would charge you for it anyways - you already paid for dinner ... and ... " she had begun rambling ...

"A kiss sounds very interesting and I will admit I was going to ask you to refurbish the astrolabe that I picked up at Amelie's shop. How about this, the winner gets to ask twenty questions of the loser and they have to answer truthfully. When I was younger we use to play this as a game. " he said as he watched Cassie still blushing from her suggestion of a kiss for the winner.

"is that a game? to ask people questions?" Usually you can just ask people - as long as the questions are proper of course Cassie thought and furrowed her brows a bit with a mix of worry and wonder "I have never heard of it ... "

[Alucard]

"Yes, it is actually a game. As a matter of fact as I understand it is a variation of a game called truth or dare, except without the dare part.It is a game that is played at parties, mostly teenagers who are looking for ways to learn more about the opposite sex. Of course when I was a teenager I was more interested in computers than girls at the time." Alucard whispered in a low voice.

[Cassie Hunter]

"I'm sure most boys are ..." she said trying to comfort him, still wondering why it always sounded like it had been in a very distant past when he spoke of him as a teeanager " ... we also both know that I am going to win anyways" she said teasing.... "so what will you do if I win?"

[Alucard]

"That Cassie is yet to be determined, but I do know this once you have the opportunity to visit you will want to do it again, so if you win I will allow you access to the roof whenever I am at home. How does that sound to you? leaning back into his seat and interlacing his fingers as he laid them across his abdomen.

She felt the car stopping and was hoping and guessing they were there, she could feel how her stomach almost started knotting of hunger while she also tried to look like she was considering his offer "hm ... I don't know .... mmmm .... maybe... " she kept trying to keep the excitement out of her voice when she answer

"We're here sir ... I mean Alucard." Kato had not gotten use to calling his employer by his name. he was use to calling his employers sir or maam or Mr., Mrs or Miss as he pulled the limo to a stop right in front of the building. He then went to open the door to let Alucard and his guest out.

Alucard had been gathering the food and Cassie books as Kato opened the door waiting for them to exit. After letting Cassie exit first Alucard pause only a moment to let Kato know that his services would no longer required for the evening and to go out and enjoy himself.

Cassie had already reached the door as Alucard came up to her.

"I know you will enjoy having access to the rooftop on a regular basis Cassie, that is of course you will our little bet." he said as still waited for her answer.

Cassie felt her determination cracking "yes ... please" she said giddily getting towards the elevator again.

"Ok, then we have a bet, Cassie." he replied as the elevator door opened. "I think we should stop on your floor first to drop off your things before heading up to the roof. What do you think?" Stepping into the elevator behind Cassie.
