Charlene nodded. “Curiosity killed the cat” She said softly. She knew what it was like. She’d been closer to her older sister than her younger one and it had hurt like a bitch when she’d been killed. “So how’d you get mixed up with Marcus then. I know he killed your brother, but unless you went looking for him?”

She nodded to her last question. "Went looking for him with a vengence. I found out bits and pieces about the vampire world. I tracked him down at a Gallery opening of his. Tried to kill him but was caught by Chase. That same night he turned me without permission." She finished off the drink in front of her. "I tried to fight the thirst at first though I eventually gave in and Marcus and I got closer." She lowered her eyes, she still wondered sometimes whether she'd made the right choice. Though everytime Marcus held her close, or kissed her those thoughts seemed to fly out the window.
