A Favor or Two

[Charlene Lynch]

Charlene wasn't exactly sure why after so many years of avoiding Marcus she'd suddenly agreed to do a favor or two for him. It was madness really, but even know he had that special hold over her. She'd walk to hell and back for him and she knew it too. Sighing softly she leaned against the bar top. He hadn't told her much, more or less that she'd understand what he wanted her to do, when she met with whoever he'd sent to her. Charlene hoped that he was right, cause at the moment she was still very confused.

[Krista Starr]

Krista arrived at the Succubus Club and still wore a puzzled look on her face. Marcus didn't tell her much, just to go there and meet with some brunette. She stepped out of the car and made her way inside. She pulled off her jacket as she walked inside and walked over to the bar. She spotted her immediatly and made her way to where she was sitting.

Charlene swiveled in her chair the moment she sensed Krista step into the club. She still hadn't understood what Marcus had told her, but judging by the look on Krista's face, she was just as clueless as she was. She waited until Krista was closer before she spoke up. "I'm Charlene, you're the one Marcus sent?"

[Krista Starr]

Krista nodded as she eyed her for a moment. "Krista." She said extending her hand to her as she took a seat. She waved to the bartender and he brought her a drink, already knowing what she liked. "Any idea what we're doing here?" She said as she took a sip from her drink.

Charlene laughed softly before taking a sip from the paralyzer she’d ordered when she’s first sat down at the bar. This situation just screamed Marcus to her. How many times had he done something like this? Far too many for her to be able to count them all. But there was still something intriguing about this Krista character. Something incredibly familiar as well. She just shrugged. “You know Marcus, he likes to keep his secrets.”

[Krista Starr]

Krista smirked as she took a sip from her drink. "That he does. Always likes to have the upper hand on everyone." She said as she placed her drink down. "So how do you know him?" Krista was having trouble breaking her gaze from her there was something about her.

[Charlene Lynch]

"Tell me Krista, just how long have you known Marcus?" Charlene would answer her question in time, however knowing just what she knew about Marcus's past would make explaining her connection to Marcus easier.

[Krista Starr]

Krista smirked at her, "About a year." As she said it she really couldnt believe it had been that long already. All the things that they'd gone through just made things pass so quickly.

[Charlene Lynch]

"A year hmm? I wouldn't look so smug, I've known him a lot longer than that." She said as she crossed her arms. "What exactly do you know about his past?"

[Krista Starr]

"That wasn't smug babe." She said quickly huffing slightly. She thought about her question for a moment before she answered her. "I've experienced bits of his past. Isbelle..." She said shortly.

[Charlene Lynch]

Charlene nodded slowly. She knew about Isabelle which meant she more likely didn't know about her past with Marcus. That was something personal that he rarely talked about, let alone would have shown anyone. She sighed softly hoping that wasn't what he wanted her to fill in. "I met Marcus probably two years after his turning."

[Krista Starr]

Krista nodded. She didn't get why she was still sitting here. Didnt see the point to it all. Though she still sat quietly, "Long time in deed." She said simply. "He must taken to you quickly." She said after a moment, remembering the rumors of Marcus and his brunettes.

[Charlene Lynch]

Charlene laughed softly and nodded. "Ah that he did, suprising how events seem to repeat themsevles. He turned me, just as he did you. However I wasn't so forgiving of him."

[Krista Starr]

Krista traced the rim of her glass with her finger. She remembered her turning quite clearly. "I wouldn't call how we began forgiving. After awhile though I just let it go." Still knowing full well that there were still lingering feelings in her even now. "So go on than. What happened?" She said starting to catch interest in the story.

Charlene shrugged. “Not much to tell really, we split ways shortly after my older sister was killed. We’ve kept in touch over the years, but nothing big. I was surprised to hear from his truthfully.”
