Morgan walked quickly down the littered street, keeping her eyes downcast as she strode into the wind. Any observer would guess that she was nothing more than a silly college girl who'd wandered off the beaten path and had, unfortunitly enough for her, gotten lost within these threatening, maze-like streets known as Breakdown Alley.
Or at least...that's what she hoped people...or other things...would think. Truth be told, Morgan was anything but a lost, silly, empty-headed college kid.
She snorted to herself as she caught wind of another Lycan. By his scent, he was old. An old Lycan meant a powerful Lycan and for a breif moment, she felt her mutated muscles tense, readying themselves for either flight or fight. After a couple of uneasy moments though, she was able to determine that his smell was a couple of days old. She relaxed her rippling muscles, but still kept his scent in the back of her mind in case she sniffed him again. She was strong, but not as strong as an old, more powerful, and more experienced Lycan. If this Lycan stranger was ultimately against her, she didn't think that she'd come out on top of that little tussle.
As she walked, she caught the scent of many other things, mostly humans. Though she detect a couple of old Lycan trails...the alley was more abandoned than she thought it would be.
The realization of this kinda dissipointed her. Ever since she had begun attending the University of Michigan, she had learned quite a bit about who...or better put...what she was. She had learned that, unlike most of the other Lycans, she wasn't interested in hunting humans. In fact, she was more intereseted in bringing the fight back to the Lycans and the other creatures that loomed in the shadows.
In recent months, she had disposed of a great number of vampires, a few Lycans, and a couple of ash-snorting fimilars. She was satisfied with this, for all of these slayings added up to fewer predators roaming the streets and preying on more innocent victums. Innocent victums that never saw their ill-intended fate comming at them. Innocent victums...like she had been.
Pulling her jean-jacket tighter around her middle, Morgan hurried on, plastering her most convincing "I'ma helpless, weak, stupid young girl" look on her face. Activity had been slow lately, with less and less vampires and lycans and others walking about, and she was getting quite bored.
But she kept her senses sharp. No telling what could jump out of the shadows and into the moonlight in this part of the town.

Audrina hurridly walked down the street, her eyes on the ground. She was deep in thought and wasn't really concerned with being social. Especially in this part of town. All the creeps hung out here. She adjusted the scarf that adorned her neck, though it wasn't really necessary, just a habit.
Her heels clicked at a steady pace as she wandered along the streets. She didn't really have a reason to be out, she just felt the need to get out of the house and take walk. Suddenly, as she turned the corner, a sharp pain shot through her shoulder as it connected with somebody else's. "Sorry," she mumbled as she looked up, her eyes landing on Morgan.
"Hey!" She looked at the girl with a smiled, "You were in my Lit. class with Dr. Saunders." She wasn't sure if the girl would remember her, she had changed so much since she had been turned. "Audrina," she put out her hand, reintroducing herself.

After Morgan's initial shock at being knocked back a couple of paces from the unexpected collision, she straightend her jacket and looked back up at the girl.
It took her a moment before she finally recognized Audrina. It had been a while, and they hadn't really gotten to know each other very well to begin with while in class together.
Returning the smile, Morgan accepted the outstreched hand and enthusiastically shook it. "Morgan," she responed, giving Audrina her name in case the slightly older girl didn't remember it. "I'm sorry about bumbing into you...it seems to be just one of those nights," she joked with a small laugh.
A funny smell entered her nostrils upon taking in Audrina's scent. She thought Audrina smelled a little like a vampire, though she wasn't a hundered percent sure. She hoped she was wrong, for she didn't really want to become enemies with Audrina upon first meeting her...or re-meeting her as the situation was.
Deciding to test her theory out, Morgan asked, "Say...where'd you go a while back? All of a sudden, you just...disapeered. Is everything okay?"

{{Sorry it's been so long. School is kicking my ass.}}
"I think it was both of our faults. I know I wasn't really paying attention to where I was going," she smiled at the girl as she let go of her hand. She picked up on a strange scent coming from the girl, one that she had remembered from her past. Was she a werewolf?
"Everything is fine," she said happily. "I had to go back to New York with my family for a bit. My dad got sick, but he's ok now. How about you? What have you been up to?"

((Please...there's nothing to apologize for. I think I've failed Psychology, and history is teetering on the edge. I understand how you feel.))
"Oh...studying....writing papers...kissing my professors asses," Morgan replied, with a roll of her eyes. "Not literraly of course," she huridly assured seeing the look of shock on Audrina's face. "No...nothing illegal or wrong going on there. But you know the college drill: busy, busy, busy."
Morgan sensed there could've been a hidden question in Audrina's ential inquery. She probably knows I just dodged that question too Just as she thought she smelled something funny about Audrina, she knew that Audrina could possibley smell something funny about her.
"Well...I'm glad your dad is okay," she continued on, trying to change the subject, "family emergencies can be pretty scary." Morgan looked around, analizing the atmosphere of the street. "So...where were you heading off to at such a fast pace on this kinda night? These streets are not very...safe...I guess is...the word. Were you planning on meeting someone?"

When he comes across something odd a Lycan and a Vampire in conversation about times past...mortal times past... Hiding in a new by shadow Darius uses an invisiblity cantrip that he can't remember where he learned it other than that a Dragonetti was involved. Darius seems to have forgotten his appetite...with this odd distraction.

"Yea they can," Audrina let out a slight chuckle. When a a new scent hit her nostrils, she scanned the alley, wondering is Morgan noticed it too. This was a completely different scent, something she had never came in contact with before.
Realizing that she had dazed off for a moment, she shook her head and gave a friendly smile. "Sorry, I got distracted by something. Actually I'm not going anywhere in particular. I just felt like I needed to get out of the house, so here I am, wandering the streets."
{{YEY! 2 finals left then I get to go home for break!}}

Seeing Audrina zone out for a moment, Morgan tilted her head slightly and sniffed at the breeze. She smelled a couple of humans and the couple of old lycan scents she had detected before, but nothing else. She inclined her head a bit, stealing a small sample of the higher air. After a couple of seconds though, she still had not picked up anything new.
Realizing that she probably looked a tad ridicoulous with her head tilted while huffing at the air, Morgan shook herself out of her "dog" state. I hate acting like a mut.
"Is that so," she asked, once again paying attention to Audrina. "Well...if you're not going anywhere in particular...maybe we should get ourselves off the streets. I could probably use a cup of coffee...and some warm air," she finished, while drawling her jacket tighter around her body.
{{Congradulations!!! I just finished yesterday! Good luck on your finals!!!}}

Alucard didn't relish the hunt as most vampires he knew did or the ones that were still alive, but he needed to feed and it had been days since he last fed. Rumors on the street was this is where the dregs of humanity called home resided, this is where he would find the nourishment that he sought. Alucard was not hunting for human blood, but on the vampire that fed upon them. He was a vampire hunting vampires a bane to his own kind. Checking to make sure he had easy access to the two Desert Eagles he carried with him in case the odds were too overwhelming for him and he needed to make a quick exit. The rounds he loaded into the guns were a mixed of silver and UV rounds, a potent combination in case trouble came calling as he surveyed the alley from the rooftops waiting for his prey like a spider in a web.

Suddenly, Morgan sensed another otherwordly presence somewhere nearby. Before Audrina could respond to her question, Morgan jerked her head around fast enough to flip her blond hair over her shoulder, scanning the surrounding rooftops.
She tensed her body, for she didn't like the feeling she got from the unseen stranger...a feeling she thought, that smelled a little like hostility. Even with the heightened senses she now possessed, she was still unable to see through the deep, murky nighttime shadows. Morgan called upon her lycan abilities, replacing her deep green eyes with glossy black, allowing the enhanced werewolf sight to bring the black world around her into the light of day.

From his perch Alucard continued to scan the alley for the hunter he knew was out prowling for his next victim. Using all of his senses Alucard reaches out into the alley knowing what he seeks may be hidden in the darkness of the alley away from prying eyes at least those eyes of normal humans. What he was searching for was about a 100 feet away and a sixty foot drop to the alley pavement, just what he was looking for a meal ticket and from the looks of her freshly fed. Alucard adjusted his full length black leather trench coat as he step off the roof to the alley below landing as softly as a cat on the prowl. With his senses on full alert Alucard picked up a familiar yet faint scent in the air, he was sure it knew that scent, but he had to move quickly before his prey could lose herself in depths of the alley.

Darius's senses are suddenly overwhelmed by the scent of another vampire, a vampire that smells strangely like a Reaper...or at least one who has done as a Reaper and fed from other vampire...this needed further investigation. Darius focused his cantrip to make sure it would hold, keeping him invisible. Then he lept straight up and on to the roof of the nearest building with a push up from the fire escape. Following his senses both actual and supernaturally enhanced by a quick aura spell. Darius comes across Alucard (of course not knowing his name). Finding this to be no Reaper Darius decides to wait and see what he does.

"Yea that would be..." Audrina trailed off as she noticed Morgan tense up. "Are you ok?" She looked around to see what the girl was looking for, yet another unknown scent hitting her nostrils. She muttered softly to Morgan, deciding to reveal her secret, not that she couldn't tell anyways, "You're a werewolf. I bet you can sense it too. But the question is, what exactly is it?"
She took a step back, not exactly sure how Morgan was going to respond to her next words. "In case you couldn't pick up on my scent," she leaned in slightly, "I'm a vampire...but I'm not your typical evil, souless creature of the night, so please don't hurt me." It probably wasn't smart to tell her this, but she decided it was best for the situation. "We can work together??"

Once more Alucard picked up the familiar scent mixed with other scents that were very familiar to him and very fresh indeed. He picked up his pace as he glided through the alley until he reached the body of her prey. The scent from the blood was overwhelming, but Alucard could sense that this human was no more as and that soon he too would be feeding upon the race that he once was a member of. She was sloppy, but then most vampires who would visit this place are as Alucard took the man’s head between his hands and gave a sudden twist snapping the neck. “This is a much better fate for you than what you would have woken too, if you managed to survive the break of day” Alucard said to now disintegrating body. Moving with renewed vigor Alucard quickly closes in on his prey, but the sound of nearby voices causes him to pause and the scent that he knew all to well was very near.

Well, Morgan thought, she does know what I am. She wasn't surprised, for it was rather difficult to hide ones scent from a supernatural being.
Despite her efforts to locate the source of the new smell, Morgan couldn't see anything that would be considered abnormal or out of place...for a run-down alley. Changing her eyes back to green, Morgan turned back to Audrina, "I have no idea what it is. Smells vaguely like a vampire, but...it's just...different somehow."
She cocked her head as Audrina stepped back, uncertain as to why the other girl was acting skittish. As she listened to Audrina's next words however, she understood perfectly why Audrina was being cautious. Historically, vampires and werewolves didn't get along. Wars had been fought, hundreds if not thousands had been slaughtered and countless lives on both sides of the battle had been altered because of the relentless fighting between the two species.
Granted, Morgan had no love of vampires. To be frank, Morgan had no love for any species, not even her own. She had no reason to, for nearly every immortal she had met only cared for one thing, the blood lust. All they cared about was feeding, killing, ruining lives and power.
I'm not like that. She didn't know why, but Morgan had no interest in the destruction of human life. And she thought that she was doomed to roam this world, pretty much alone in that train of thought.
Or at least, until now.
She looked hard into Audrina's eyes, trying to read if the girl was lying. Upon first meeting Audrina, Morgan could tell that something was different about her. Though she smelled like a vampire, Audrina didn't seem to have the usual aora that a normal vampire put out. She didn't seem to act like the typical vampire...and that puzzeled Morgan.
She didn't know what good could come of working with Audrina, and for that matter, Morgan didn't know if Audrina was truely telling the truth. But Morgan was in desperate need for an ally, and this was as good as a place to start as any.
"I'm not going to hurt you," she said slowely, letting the words sink in. "Truth is, I did smell you almost immediatly. But...I could also sense that you were...different."
Pausing, Morgan looked up at the moon, as if to draw comfort and stregnth from its illuminating silver rays. "I'd be willing to give a partnership a shot," Morgan looked back at Audrina, her eyes somewhere in-between green and black, "that is of course, if you're telling the truth. I don't take being taken advantage of lightly. But if you're sincere in your story, than yes, I'd like to work with you."
Morgan stood in a semi-tense state, both for the reasons of waiting to hear Audrina's answer, and the fact that she still had no idea what the other scent was.
