Summary : Post-ep.3. Krista is recovering from the stomach wound. Chase thinks Marcus has been paying Krista too much attention.
‘Ship : A vague Marcus/Krista, duh.
A/U : I think there’s totally some UST between Marcus and Krista, but Chase is all fucking pissed because here comes this newbie who’s twin brother was a wannabe/snitch and Marcus is all acting like she’s oh so important. Some things I’m just guessing since we don’t know.

“So, how long has he been in there...talking to her?” Chase asked one of the nurse milling about the medical section of the house. She was close to ripping out her hair, she’s been mostly loyal to Marcus for how long and then this nothing women who’s not even that hot shows up...after 2 years in iraq and Marcus bathes her in attention. She’s been a vampire for less than a week or so, and he’s almost made it a fucking habit of carrying her if she’s not up to walking.
Hello, she got a silver stake right below her knee. That hurt!! But I guess the stomach wound was bigger and more severe, but silver stake in knee and she’s been with Marcus longer. Why hasn’t he been so affectionate to her? It’s not like she has an actual marriage anymore, that ended right about the time her son of bitch husband turned her.
“Quite some time.” The nurse tells her, without looking up from the chart she was scribbling something down in. "He seems a bit taken with her, doesn't he?" is what she says to Chase, as she put down the file and is looking at the same image as Chase. If you didn’t know those two were vampires, and especially Marcus not a very nice one and all Anne Rice-routine, you’d think it could fit on a get-well card.
When Maggie, the nurse turned around to tell Chase something she saw the hands in a tight grip and her fangs were half-way down. “Would you like me to take care of your knee?” She asked Chase, who turned away from the get-well card scene and stared the nurse right in the eyes. “No, thanks. I’ve got to stay here.” She tells her, and crossed her hands over her chest.
Maggie just nodded her head then and walked to the desk and sat down, to finish some thing before she was done for the night. “I can’t leave. Now that Fritz is gone, someone has got to watch over him.” Chase told her, as she stood next to her and gave off a menacing vibe. “Whatever you say.” Maggie told her, without looking up from the files.
