Selene entered the Succubus club and looked around.
"This seems like an interesting place," Selene thought as she sat down at the bar.
"I would like a vodka straight up please," Selene said to the bartender as she saw a familar face.

It was the night before Chad decided to return to The House of Chthon. He was planning to confront Marcus van Sciver and ask him to make Chad a member again. Chad still worked with Blade and the Nightstalkers, but they didn't have any new information. So tomorrow, Chad was going to do something risky. But he wanted to have some fun first.
He had just sat down at the bar in The Succubus Club and ordered a Strawberry Daiquiri when he spotted someone he knew: Selene.
He remembered how he tried to frame her a couple of months ago to take the fall for his spying within Chthon. Marcus didn't believe him but that probably didn't matter to Selene. She was probably still pissed.

After Selene got her drink. Selene got up and sat at a seat next to Chad.
"Hello Chad," Selene said with a smile on her face.
"We have some things to talk about. First, lets start with why you framed me in order to get Marcus to trust you. I believe you owe me a good explanation why you did it," Selene said looking at Chad for a response.

Sighing, he put down his drink and turned to look at her. "Basically, you were in the wrong place, at the wrong time. If you hadn't been talking with Blade here one night, the night that I had those pictures of the two of you taken, than I wouldn't have had the opportunity to frame you. It also seemed a bit suspicious that you asked Marcus if you could leave Chthon at the same time that I accused you of being the mole."
Chad cleared his throat and took another sip of his drink. "My plan didn't work anyways; Marcus totally dismissed it. Like I said, the only reason I chose you to take the fall was because I was desperate, and you were in the wrong place at the wrong time. I'm sorry for that."

"But if you ask me you have a lot of things to learn," Selene said.

Chad wasn't quite sure how to respond to her offer. It was quite strange seeing a different side of Selene, seeing as how she seemed like a bitch when he was working within Chthon.
"I've been in hiding for the past couple of months, so I'm not quite sure where allegiances lie. Are you still a member of the House of Chthon?"
