Heya, couldn't resist applying for a Nightstalker.

Character Name: goes by the name of Murphy, whether it's the first or last name no one knows.
Race: Caucasian
Physical Description: Rugged, scar down the top lip from an encounter with a vamp who got lucky. Thick black hair, extremely pale blue eyes. Works out quite a bit to keep in shape, mostly weights. Almost always has a cigarette in his mouth or hand.
Age: Mid thirties
Hobbies: Smoking, sex, weights, his weapons.
Goals: Not many lofty ones. Stay alive. Add more notches to his belt when it comes to dusting the freaks. Eventually have enough cash and means to retire somewhere tropical and sunny as hell. (hey he and Hannibal can swap ideas on the best island to retire to)
Personality: Not too bright, well he's smart and cunning, but definitely not well educated or well read. In contrast to Hannibal, Murphy tends to be gruff and ill humoured. When he makes a crack it comes from a cynical place. He's seen a lot, and doesn't really have a lot of faith in the good guys prevailing over the dark. He's not a philosopher, or a philanthropist. He's not out to save the world and puppies, although being with the Nightstalkers, it sorta happens by default. To be honest, he just loves gratuitous violence, and wants a legit way to indulge in it. Loves the thrill of being under fire and taking down some badass vamps. He probably has a deathwish underneath it all, wanting to see how close he can get, skating the edge without ever toppling over.
Lesser known facts which may come to play at some point: He uses Ash, but in small enough quantities that he feels he can handle it and not be addicted. He hasn't told anyone this.
He's uneasy about Blade (being part vamp), and also resents the way Hannibal just seems to be the defacto leader when Blade ain't around.
Murphy is growing tired of his current situation, and may be looking to shift his loyalties. A mercenary at heart, he might be open for a sweeter deal if he's approached right.
History: Ex-military, but won't go into details about which branch or where he saw action. Murphy has been with the Nightstalkers for a couple of years. He is one of their go to people for weapons and arms, and also for getting the word on the street. He's the kind of guy who has connections and informants from the underground, especially those that deal with illegal contraband etc.
He commands respect mostly by cutting good deals and bashing a few heads, but gets the job done.
As far as his history with vamps go...He met one feeding on a soon to be corpse in the back alley of some club in LA. Managed to fight it off, didn't kill it, but never forgot the rush. Did some digging, and found out there were people who hunted them. Went from there. He's heard of the lycanthropes, but hasn't gone toe to toe with one yet.
