Getting "In"

[Audrina Montague]

After Audrina had returned to the House of Chthon, she got herself something to eat, then went to her room and changed into something more comfortable. As she sat on her bed, drinking some blood out of a wine glass, she racked her brain for ideas. Even the thought of Marcus Van Sciver made her want to break the glass which she held in her hand, but she needed to do this.

When she finished off the blood, she set the glass on her nightstand and stood up, brushing herself off. She needed to talk to him, try to get close with him, and there was no use in wasting time. With a quick check in the mirror, she walked out of her room, prepared to use whatever acting skills she had to be convincing.

After turning back a few times, she finally got the nerve to do it. Talking the long way to his office on the 3rd floor, she thought things out in her head. She wasn't exactly sure what she was going to do yet, but it would all come to her under the pressure.

She walked past Sabine, giving her a small smile as she made her way to his door. As she raised her hand up to knock, she stopped herself, dropping it to her side and taking a deep breath. She began to pace in front of his door, trying to once again work up the guts to do it.

Audrina however didn't have to worry about getting the guts to knock on his door, Marcus did the work for her. Truthfully he hadn't been expecting anyone to be standing outside his office door. Normally Sabine would have paged him or something, but for some unknown reason she had stayed quite. This had resulted in Marcus almost running over a member of his house. What a way to make an impression. He let his gazed fall over Audrina trying to remember exactly who she was. Chthon had so many knew fledglings, he couldn't place her. "Can I help you?"

Audrina resisted the urge to cuss him out as Marcus had nearly ran her over. Her eyes rose from the floor, meeting Marcus' "Mr. Van Sciver," she smiled at him, brushing a piece of hair out of her face. "I've been meaning to talk to you." She held out her hand, introducing herself, "I'm Audrina Montague."

"Charmed I'm sure" Marcus said taking her hand and shaking it almost a little too quickly. He was a busy man with things to do and meeting with feldglings wasn't on his agenda for the day. "I mean to Ill-will Miss Montague, but i'm terribly busy. Perhaps we could scheludle an acutal meeting to do this discussing?"

"Actually, no. I'd like to talk about this now. It won't take long, I promise." Audrina took her hand back and crossed her arms over her chest. "I've been hearing about this Aurora thing for quite a while, and now that I know exactly what it can do, I want in." She lowered her voice a little," If you want to be able to take out the purebloods, you need as many people by your side as possible, and I am more than willing to get dirty to help you." She looked at him, not sure what his reaction was going to be, "I assure you, having me by your side if a war would break out, would be a very good choice."
